Join Carrie Sturts Dossick Ph.D., P.E., Schaufelberger Professor of Construction Management and Associate Dean of Research at the University of Washington, for a session on the “VDC Time Study” at the MEP Innovation Conference. This session will present benchmark data on how Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) time is used in different parts of a project. Attendees will learn about time management in VDC processes and how various project phases require different amounts of time and resources.
The session will be interactive, using live polling to engage attendees and collect real-time feedback. Participants can benchmark their experiences with the research findings, encouraging a collaborative discussion on the challenges and opportunities in the field for estimating and managing VDC time.

This survey is designed to assess current industry practices. The first half explores the roles and responsibilities of VDC professionals, while the second half examines automation and fabrication support in VDC workflows. 3. VDC Time Metrics Tool
These tools provide an effective method to create customized metrics for your selected VDC tasks, enabling you to streamline benchmarking processes. Simply prepare your data in either XLSX or CSV format, and import it into the tools. This user-friendly approach offers an innovative and efficient way to benchmark and analyze your VDC tasks.
